| Began a long awaited vacation back down at Disney's Hilton Head Resort. Yes, that is one ugly face but surprisingly I didn't break the camera. |

| Despite the human traffic a species of terrapin decided to lay her eggs close to the resort fire pit. Talked with the a member of the staff and she said the babies are due Monday morning, if the obey the schedule from the time they were laid. |

| Hoping to get some relaxation in the coming days. There will be more pictures tomorrow. |

Fantastic! Are you going to try and catch the hatching tomorrow? Wildlife is not always very good at following exact schedules for things like, you know, birth, but it would be cool to see.
I'm officially jealous. While you and everyone else (so it seems) is going on vacation, my work schedule has become more intense. Have a beer for me, or whatever you drink.
Harry: As of Friday afternoon when we left the resort, no the turtle eggs hadn't hatched. In fact, they had to expand the taped off area because another mamma turtle of the same species laid her eggs right beside those.
Pixel: Had several beers. Still didn't make it easier to come home.
