Alaskan Independence Party and Sara....John, did you really check her out?
Not to pee on all those proud Republican's parade with the glory they are basking in over the pitbull that spoke last night at their convention and talked so much trash about Obama but I found something interesting. It seems that while the right wing have tried to roast Michelle Obama over some of her words and paint Obama as something less than patriotic that proud American beauty Sara Palin has actually been a member of a political party seeking to pull Alaska out of the Union. Now that would seem to me to be something old John and his handlers would have found out before asking her to run with him of the Republican ticket. I can only imagine what screams of disloyalty and treason would come from the likes of Limbaugh, Coulter, and Hannity if such a video of Barrack or Michelle similar to this one would turn up. Now I don't have many people reading my blog who are Republican and just tonight some right wing weasel on MSNBC was telling Rachael Maddow the Palin's connection to the Alaskan Independence Party wasn't true but I dare any that might to watch this and tell me that is not her on this video. I'm sorry but while there wasn't a chance in hell I would ever vote for McCain/Palin you can't tell me she is proud to be an American yet clearly has friendly and supportive dealings with a political party that would have Alaska become an independent country.

I actually investigated this story as these days I have dedicated my blog to stories that concern the Barracuda. As indicated in the video her husband Todd was certainly a member but she often spoke at their meetings and conventions. The evidence is clear that she supports their twisted agenda and puts Alaska before the country. Then again, as is so much of the Palin information, the truth is hard to find.
The Republican Spin Machine is working over time to lie, obfuscate and manipulate the truth about this dangerous woman. After watching this video I am going to post it on my my new "dedicated to doing in Sarah" blog. The specter of this person possibly becoming President of the United States is too horrible to contemplate and I think all thinking Americans need to do everything they can to see this does not happen.

Vigil: As far as the weather is concerned we had a little rain and some dark clouds Friday. Dragonwife has shopping to do and after getting Wiggles some soup and seeing that Spoilboy made himself a grilled cheese sandwich I caught a great nap. Today its sunny and nice. Hanna did affect my hometown, Georgetown, South Carolina, but I haven't heard anything from anyone down there although nothing less that a category 3 hurricane worries any of them.
Randal: Talk about brevity being the soul of wit. I think you hit the nail squarely on the head with that one. Many of the right wingers I'm around harbor nothing less than contempt for certain other races. But they will swear up and down they ain't prejudice.
MadMike and DCap: It will very interesting, to say the least, in how the press is either cowed into submission or investigates Palin enough to truthfully uncover her actual record and beliefs. Right now it seems up in the air. I truly believe that if anyone in the Obama family or close friends had even begun to speak the same words to a secessionist party the air waves would be flooded as Fox Noise and the other usual suspects screamed it out to every corner of the nation.

Doesn't matter if she was a member- her husband was for seven years, and nobody disputes that. Her husband also sat in on confidential cabinet meetings and was cc'd confidential state emails while she was governor- so you've got the governor's husband and de-facto aide as a member of a political party dedicated to seceding the state and seizing all federal lands there. I don't think it takes a genius to realize that6 such a person cannot be made the Vice President of the United States. Can you even begin to imagine what a furious stink the Right-Wing Blowhards would be raising if positions were reversed and Michelle Obama had belonged to such a party? McCain is just showing how fictitious his so-called "love of America" is, the damned hypocritical traitor!
Why is it that trolls always refer to those that oppose Republitards as spineless?
I get the biggest kick out of that kind of thing because their hero, George W. Brainless is the most spineless coward I have ever seen in my entire life. Not only is he a coward, but his war planners are even bigger cowards as is evidenced by our handling of the whole Iraq thing since the "end of hostilities in Iraq."
Just my opinion though, for what it is worth.
