A Couple of Quick Thoughts For The Day
To paraphrase a character from "The Big Bang
Theory" I am not opposed to the concept of an all powerful deity. But I
am baffled by one that gives a damn about anything except how humans treat
each other and the other living creatures on the planet we all share.
I have had quite the reaction to my last post concerning guns. Several emails and one especially asinine comment have lead me to believe I touched a nerve with a few people. Please understand I truly endeavored to be fair but if I offended anyone it was not my intention. But if I have, Master Yoda's words speaks for me. Don't let the metaphysical door hit you in the ass on your way out.
Yes, I'm in a very bad mood.

Ah.....but you YOU in a bad mood...make a lot more sense and express more real emotion than ANYONE on FOX in a good mood.
When I grew up I remember we prayed for people and peace. Then I came to this country and noticed that people prayed for football games. And for rain on the other party's national convention. And to "bless this country." Does God KNOW there are countries?

I always have hope for good to happen. Guess I am an optimist. I was not offended at all by your gun blog posting. You can never make everyone happy.
Pixel Peeper, many of us still pray for peace and people. I know I and my church do.
@ Rose L: I probably should have worded my comment a little differently. As in, I was astounded that there were some people who would pray for something like a football game, or bad weather for someone else.
